Galina, who had just arrived, was chatting with Dorothy on the sofa, while Bella fiddled with the [Fate Base] Dorothy had brought back that morning.
Emilia politely greeted the Duchess. Galina's appearance here had not been part of the plan; Leisha had originally thought she would not arrive until tomorrow afternoon. But with the great battle drawing near, Galina did not want to be the only one absent, so she would be living aboard the ship starting today.
"Is the bloodline of our Cavendish Family really that good?"
Even the Duchess could not help but sigh as she looked at the [Redemption] ring:
"I truly find it hard to understand. Angelina was clearly a background character, even less important than Claire. How did she end up being the one to provide this most important Ring of Fate?"
The little princess continued to keep a straight face and said nothing. Before today, she had been thinking that all her friends were useful while she herself could do nothing. Now, she had instead become one of the most important people. Angelina Cavendish now understood that Fate is impermanent.

The little elf asked curiously, and the little princess immediately shook her head.
"Nothing changed. It's the same as last time."
"Luvia and I both believe that some kind of Chaos-attribute Power concealed the change in Angelina's role caused by the Appearance Of [Redemption]."
Bella explained:
"But no matter what methods we used, we could not determine the source of that power. This Chaos-attribute Power is even stronger than the power possessed by the Great Witch of Chaos in the Council. So I suspect that whatever gave Angelina this fate was not an ordinary Ring Arcanist or Witch."
