"The air in the Upper City District and Lower District is so clean because all the pollution has been left for the Outer City District."
Shade marveled inwardly. Though he had visited quite a few cities already, the sight before him still filled him with admiration.
"Still, it's truly impressive that they managed to build a city like this."
In Shade's view, Arcadia City absolutely had the potential to be turned into a fortress city. The Upper City District and Lower District were built into the mountainside, easy to defend and difficult to assault. As long as logistics and supplies were secured and Steam Cannons were deployed, conquering such a city would be even harder than getting Little Mia to agree to wear a bow.
Normally, Shade would not have thought about such things, but these were wartime days after all.
"This library is located between the commoners' district and the nobles' district."
Thinking that, he returned to the entrance of the library. Compared to the library's size, its door was rather small, about the same size as the front door at 6 Saint Derain Square.
Sure enough, the library door had been tightly locked from the outside with chains. Fortunately, the rusted metal plaque above it identified the place's name—[Blue Ink Library].
Now that he had a name, Shade would have plenty of time tomorrow during the day to investigate why the library had become like this. If he had the chance afterward, he would not mind buying the library. After all, it was best to keep the entrance and exit of the [Space Labyrinth] in his own hands.
"I wonder whether Arcadia City has any particularly delicious food. Hopefully it isn't like the Golden Roasted Fish on Fatumonst Island."
With that thought, Shade took another look at the
