Tobesk was still shrouded in fog on Friday, with a light rain falling.
This spring had been somewhat rainy across the Old Continent. Though it still differed from extreme weather such as last year's Summerless Summer and the winter blizzards, judging by the current situation, precautions against flooding were certainly necessary.
Of course, none of this had anything to do with Shade, who lived in central Tobesk City.
Luvia's face was still slightly flushed at breakfast. Though they could do anything at night, during the day she still reproached Shade a little for his behavior. Especially when Shade picked up a glass to drink milk, the diviner looked as though the words, "Why are you hinting at that again?" were written all over her face.
That instead left Shade rather baffled, and he even suspected that Long-Haired Luvia had not completely blocked off her memories.
Thus, a pleasant day began amid this sort of "family comedy." After breakfast, Shade took an umbrella and walked Luvia to work. The rain outside was not heavy, and she enjoyed taking walks with Shade in this kind of spring rain.
When Shade returned home, Galina had not yet left:
"I already told you, Yodel Palace is so close that there's nothing for me to do if you wake me early. Shade, go see Wei Ge. Just let me stay home by myself."
Standing behind the sofa, Tifa smiled and winked at Shade. He then tossed the cat perched on his shoulder onto the back of the sofa and sat beside Galina. When Shade had met new Witches before, Galina had never displayed such emotions. Clearly, Wei Ge Astley had given even this ever-confident witch some uneasy thoughts.
Though Shade did not dare claim that he completely understood Galina's mind, after knowing each other for
