Though Shade could not say for certain that the enemy's Magic Eye needed to see its target to take effect, he knew his Thaumaturgy could definitely suppress its properties to some extent.
But the enemy clearly had no intention of using the Magic Eye again. The relic backlash caused by the gravitational pull of Shade's [Blood Moon Return] was actually far more severe than Shade had imagined.
