Margaret stood at the entrance to the tower and smiled as she welcomed Shade's embrace.
"It's been over a week since I last saw you. I guessed you would definitely come this morning, so I used the key Teacher Sylvia gave me to teleport here. Teacher Sylvia isn't around; she's brewing potions and can't get away for the moment. She said I can use the Teleportation Gate in the Teleportation Gate Room to return."
As the tower door closed, Margaret softly told Shade the rest. Of course, Shade understood what she meant. His appointment with old Mr. Munoz from the Tower of Marvels was actually close to noon, and Mr. Bernhardt's matter was not particularly urgent either.
"Then tell me all about the results of your investigation."
As he spoke, he bent down and, amid Margaret's smiling cry of surprise, lifted her in a standard princess carry.
"I have time until ten-thirty."
"That's enough time for my report. But since you made me work so hard, my knight, you have to compensate me too~"
She kissed Shade's cheek, licked her lips, then whispered into his ear:
"I'm wearing some very pretty lingerie. I'll show you later. But I have a request for you too."
"From behind again? No problem."
"No. What I mean is, before you say goodbye to me today, please don't let my feet touch the ground again."
She moved her head away from Shade's ear, then touched his nose with hers. Her large eyes met his directly.
"You can definitely do it. I'm not asking you to hold me the whole time. I know you have some very magical chains, and you're very good with ropes too, aren't you?"
Shade could certainly do that, but Margaret herself could not. Or rather, Margaret's experience still could not compare
