Miss Eden continued looking at the small statue on the ancient sewer wall:
"So, the Derainore Royal Family believed the source of their bloodline was no ordinary being, which was why they used the image of their ancestor to suppress earthquakes?
I remember that the Burgundy Family did indeed have a strong tradition of ancestor worship. Though until their downfall, they never mastered any supernatural power aside from mutating their bloodline through cooperation with the Bloodkin, nearly every page of the Derainore kingdom's royal history mentions their reverence and respect for their ancestors.
Perhaps that is why, even in modern times, the old Derainore nobles are still willing to obey the Astley Family's orders. They likely truly believe that the Burgundy Family's bloodline is extraordinary, nobler even than the current Anjou Royal Family and Cavendish Royal Family."

It was only three hundred years before the kingdom's fall that public royal cemeteries began to be constructed above ground."
Miss Eden nodded lightly:
"Even if it is not a royal tomb, it is most likely the burial site of a great noble from Derainore's early era. That period was closer to the beginning of the Sixth Epoch, when The Church's control over supernatural powers was far less strict than it is now. I imagine there should be some ancient ritual traps in the tomb."

"Draw three cards at random."
The three cards Shade drew
