Although Lin Yu did not understand what the sound meant, considering the current time, he could roughly guess.
Standing beside him, Medalo, a veteran Prisoner of the Eternal Prison, spoke softly and gave the answer Lin Yu had already guessed.
"Night has fallen, sir."
The light from the Ring of the Sky Curtain, hanging directly overhead, gradually dimmed. In just a few seconds, the radiance that had illuminated the entire Eternal Prison vanished completely.
Judging only by the change in light intensity, it was as if the passage from "afternoon" to "dusk" to "evening" had been completed in a few seconds, with "noon" directly becoming "midnight."
