Background

Tai Shang is the Eternal Demonic Lord and the foremost leader of the five great demonic races. He saved the Eternal Demonic Race from extinction and later led it to conquer the Tai Wu Realm, making the name “Eternal” feared throughout the world. 74 118

He regards Lu Yuan as someone worth protecting and cultivating. To push Lu Yuan toward accepting leadership of the five demonic races, Tai Shang severed a wing from the Supreme God of Light—an act that could draw the attention of the Hall of Gods’ believers.
