Background / History
Qing Wuji is a descendant of the Qing Clan, one of the Primordial Ten Clans. His ancestor is Executive Qingmu, whom Xu Ziling recognizes as an old acquaintance. Although his clan status grants him protection from outsiders, his own branch is weak, sparsely populated, and regarded as a likely candidate for eventual elimination or annexation. 50 51 125
He became one of the few Dark Continent prodigies on good terms with Lu Yuan. Having previously fought Lu Yuan, Qing Wuji understands that no Dark Continent prodigy can defeat him one-on-one. 36 40
When Lu Yuan sought protection for surviving Lu Family members, Qing Wuji arranged an audience with his master, Qing Chuan. Qing Chuan agreed to shelter the Lu Family in exchange for Lu Yuan leading Qingling Star Travel’s expedition into the Divine Martial Heavenly Ruins; Qing Wuji welcomed Lu Yuan as the team’s captain. 36
Several hundred years later, Qing Wuji returned to the Primordial Great Realm to compete for the Qing Clan’s Young Clan Leader position. He entered the contest to preserve his branch’s independence rather than accept another branch’s “protection” through annexation. 124 125
Appearance
Qing Wuji is presented as a refined, sunny young man with a strong physique. He favors expensive blue robes, though he also trains bare-chested in the Qing Clan’s gravity rooms. 36 124
- Starry-river eyes and a cheerful, approachable bearing. 36
- Chiseled, muscular build developed through gravity training. 124
- Uses his fists in combat. 126
Personality
Qing Wuji is candid, sociable, and informal with those he trusts. He treats Lu Yuan as a close friend, freely jokes with him, shares wine with him, and openly voices concern when Lu Yuan faces overwhelming danger. 36 45 48 49
He is also perceptive about Lu Yuan’s character, describing him as extreme and recognizing that Lu Yuan is gentle toward allies but ruthless toward opponents. 40
Despite his comparatively weak standing in the Qing Clan succession struggle, Qing Wuji is proud and resolute. He refuses to abandon his branch or accept annexation, and he is willing to challenge both Qing Wulü and the clan elders’ biased treatment. 125 126
Abilities & Skills
Cultivation and Combat

Divine Martial Heavenly Ruins
As Lu Yuan’s deputy, Qing Wuji joins the expedition into the Divine Martial Heavenly Ruins. Qing Clan Succession Struggle
Qing Wuji competes for the Young Clan Leader position to prevent his weak branch from being annexed. He refuses Qing Wulü’s demand that he kneel and become his follower, defeats Qing Wulü’s attempted killing strike through clever use of a protective artifact, and resolves to kill him when the clan permits Qing Wulü to use a forbidden Berserker God Pill. 125 126
Following Lu Yuan’s intervention, Qing Wuji kills Qing Wulü and leads his clansmen away from the arena. He later follows Lu Yuan’s orders to collect resources from the collapsing continent. 127 128
