Listening to the captains' raucous argument, the Commander's blood pressure began to rise.
Octopus Monsters suffered from high blood pressure too, but they did not need to take medicine. It only caused some physical discomfort and did not lead to further health problems.
It slammed the table and looked at the captains. "If we refuse the Peace Talks and open fire on them, how long can we hold out? Who can answer me?"
The captains suddenly fell silent. The Deputy Commander spoke at that moment. "Our current supplies are enough for approximately fifty Earth Star Sunrises of high-intensity combat against the Earth Star Civilization."
The Commander nodded twice. "Then how many soldiers will we lose?"
The Deputy Commander could not answer the question. After roughly a minute, it finally said in a regretful tone, "We may not have many left."

"Even if it takes ten or twenty machine soldiers to exchange for one of ours, we'll still be the ones who lose in the end."
"These nearly identical machine soldiers must have come off an assembly line in a factory. The existence of such highly efficient assembly lines means they'll be endless."
"Considering that the Earth Star Civilization may have been operating here for thousands, even tens of thousands, of years, they have enough resource reserves to fight us to the very end."
The captains' expressions turned ugly when they heard this. This was the most frustrating war they had ever fought.
The enemy could not be killed at all!
Not long after being killed, they would return in force. Some machine soldiers did indeed bear traces of battle
