A Minor Scene

This wasn't a trip for "business negotiations." Everyone gathered without discussing certain matters, and some of the big shots hadn't come in person. They had merely sent their children.

That also meant Lin Qi was unlikely to do business with some of them. They couldn't make decisions themselves, so no matter how much they discussed things now, it would be meaningless.

In the late afternoon, everyone gathered together. The General Manager of Every Moment Company appeared at the venue and delivered a few words.

The general gist was that he thanked everyone for spending what even they themselves considered an inexplicable amount of money, allowing Every Moment to grow to its current scale in such a short time—something they themselves had never expected.

People had actually been willing to spend one or two million a year on a few tobacco fields and some naked peasant women returning to nature. Regardless, they were grateful to every guest who had attended. It was only because of them that Every Moment had become what it was today.

This trip was simply meant to let everyone have a good time.

After the opening ceremony ended, the cruise ship was already sailing across the sea. Not far away, the Federation Coastal Guard was following along. Since they were traveling along the coast, there was no need to dispatch warships.

If they really encountered any trouble, they could reach shore in an hour or two. Besides, this voyage had been running for more than a decade and had never encountered a single problem. Everyone trusted it completely.

After eating some food from the restaurant, the people on the yacht scattered. The waiters also changed from men into simply dressed, pretty young women wearing rabbit ears.

"I'm going to the casino!"
