Another easy victory.

Facing an enemy who was distracted in battle, Alger would never let go of any opportunity, but he did not feel any joy in killing the enemy. Even the Dragon Vein Giant Eagle under his mount let out a low, mournful cry.

Alger looked down at the spot where Nellie had fallen and said calmly, "Iger, I've said it before, we're just serving different masters. The Alger of the past is long dead."

"Nellie. She should understand that."

Without even a moment's mourning for his former friend and the enemy he had just slain, Alger rode his giant eagle back into the battlefield.

"Iger, continue the fight."

However, this small-scale skirmish was nearing its end. Facing the seasoned Eagle Guards, these rookie Wyvern Knight were even more adept than Alger, displaying an overwhelming advantage.

"Watch my Barbecue Art!"

"Triple kill!"

"They've gone berserk, they've gone berserk."

"Don't try to take it from me, I'm going to max out my contribution today!"

Ignoring the heavy encirclement of the Eagle Guards, Wyvern unleashed a torrent of fire upon his target, turning several Eagle Guards into charred remains as they crashed to the ground.

Players disregard tactics, maneuvering, and probing; if any Eagle Guards dare to retaliate, they simply charge in and unleash a barrage of fire until the enemy is unable to fight back.

You mean tactics?

It's all just talk, who cares about these things when a real fight breaks out? It'll all just be a chaotic mess.

What? You dare to harass and ambush from behind? The players could even ignore the enemy in front of them, turn their heads and bite the despicable guy who was sneaking up on them to death, even if it meant being attacked from both sides.

But what's even more terrifying is that, because of these creatures' natural scales, arrows coming from behind are practically like tickles.

The players' rough and wild style made the Eagle Guards extremely uncomfortable.

What kind of tactic is this? It wasn't taught in our tactical drills!

With Nellie's death, the North Wind Eagle Guard was already leaderless, and they were now facing a situation where they could neither fight back nor escape from the players.

Soon, the battle turned into a one-sided chase.

"Keep chasing! Keep chasing!"

"Where do you think you're going!"

"You thieves, don't run away!"

Steamed Bun rode the Wyvern "Noodles" at the forefront, his arm tightly gripping a five-meter-long lance, his expression extremely excited.

The gun was already stained with mottled blood, yearning for the blood of the next enemy.

Seeing the Eagle Guards flying further and further away, Steamed Bun, eager to contribute, immediately activated his skill.

[Dragon Roar Charge!]

"Roar--"

The Half-Dragon knight and his Wyvern roared simultaneously.

The powerful roar of the two resonating forces caused the giant eagle in the distance to tremble and fall into instinctive panic. Its speed dropped sharply, and its wings wobbled, making it difficult to maintain normal flight.

"Haha, prepare to die!"

"Five hundred contribution points, here I come!"

Steamed Bun let out an extremely arrogant laugh and swooped down on his Wyvern.

Just as his spear tip was about to pierce the enemy's back and drink his blood—

"Whoosh!"

An arrow whizzed past Mantou and struck the Eagle Guards directly in the back of the Steamed Bun, the force of which caused the arrow tip to pierce through his brow.

The Eagle Guards tumbled off the giant eagle's back.

The Steamed Bun didn't receive the expected contribution, and the unrestrained smile on his face slowly froze.

He immediately flew into a rage and angrily shouted at the high sky:

"Xin Gou, why are you stealing my kills! My 500 contribution points—"

A lazy voice came from the air. "I'm an Archer Warrior. What's the point of being Archer Warrior if I don't harvest? I had that guy in my sights long ago. You can only blame yourself for your gun not being as fast as my arrow."

"What the hell?"

"Just practice more, you've only killed a few, and I've already earned six thousand contribution points."

"If you're so capable, don't steal my kill. I already controlled it with my Dragon Shout, and you still keep attacking."

"So if you control me, doesn't that mean I can hit you?"

"Go to hell!"

The battle before us has completely degenerated into a massacre.

Alger stopped paying attention to the chaotic battle. He had been with these players for a long time and knew how ruthless they could be for the so-called "Faction Contribution." He believed they would not let any of them escape.

He was more concerned about the movements of the coalition forces.

"These guys are making such a big show of it, it's too easy for them to be exposed."

"Iger, let's go scout ahead ourselves first."

Alger instructed the Dragon Vein Giant Eagle beneath him. After years of working together, they were almost in perfect harmony, needing only a single action to understand each other's meaning.

So while the players were chasing after contributions, Alger quietly left on his giant eagle.

"Finally, I saw it."

He flew over mountain ranges and finally spotted the target in the distance, because it was so obvious that it didn't even need much observation.

It was a massive army, tens of thousands marching across the wilderness like a mottled torrent. Many of them were clad in iron armor and wielded long spears. Warhorses neighed, infantry and cavalry intermingled, the tips of their spears gleaming coldly in the sunlight. There were also many heavy wagons covered with thick cloth, their contents unknown.

Several banners were raised high in the center of the army, the foremost being a grey eagle banner—the banner of the "Eagle of the North Wind" Rackman Dynasty, followed by the banners of "Northern Lion" Bosque and "Double Headed Eagle" Nott. The ranks also included various other banners, the battle flags of noble lords from different regions.

Besides the soldiers, the ranks also included a large number of laborers who carried loads on shoulder poles and drove carts to transport supplies. The serfs were often bent over by the heavy loads of grain, and although they themselves were still suffering from hunger, they were often emaciated.

Many giant eagles were also flying and circling in the sky, keeping watch on the surroundings.

Their armies were easy to distinguish: Lakman's uniforms were generally a somber gray-black, while Bosque preferred dark blue, Nott favored earthy yellow.

In this torrent, gray made up the majority.

Keep in mind that the entire Northern United Kingdom, comprising all twelve kingdoms, couldn't even muster a million people. Even North Wind Fortress, the capital of the Lakman Duchy, was only a city of a little over 30,000.

This time, the Rackman Dynasty dispatched nearly 20,000 troops, sparing no expense to ensure the destruction of Burned-Out Nest.

Alger gazed at the imposing army and muttered to himself:

"The allied forces of the Northern Three Kingdoms..."

"They did come."

"Anzeta, it's been decades since we've had a war of this scale..."

"I must go back immediately and report to my master."

Alger rode the Dragon Vein Giant Eagle, soaring over mountains at incredible speed, heading straight for Dragon Valley.
