Keosius gazed at the information that had appeared on the panel earlier.
[The overall strength of the NPC faction you created, Ember Nest, has met the requirements.] [Ember Nest has gained a modest reputation within the Anzeta Great Wasteland. Located in Giant's Valley, its territory encompasses half of the Storm Highlands. Rumor has it that it is the lair of the Red Dragon "Flying Flame," Keosius, and the graveyard of the North Wind Eagle Guard. Countless vicious monsters such as Ogres, wyverns, and Chimeras gather here, serving their evil lord as they prepare to unleash their endless desire for expansion.] [You may create a special faction subclass.]
A faction subclass was a class branch unique to each faction.
As players, they could only advance into one after earning a certain amount of Faction Contribution and meeting the required class qualifications.
For example, the Rackman Dynasty's North Wind Eagle Guard required absolute loyalty to the family and proficiency in "riding giant eagles." In his previous life, many players had joined North Wind Fortress for that very reason.
Many faction subclasses were exceptionally powerful, such as the Lionheart Knights of the Bosk Family, the Corrosion Druids of the Dark Swamp, and the Time Soul Sorcerers of the Tower of Time.
Keosius had deliberately subdued Alger because he valued this unit's exceptional mobility. They made excellent scouts and aerial forces.
He intended to establish Ember Nest's exclusive subclass based on the North Wind Eagle Guard.
And Alger would be the first test subject.
In the future, he would become something akin to a "class instructor," luring more players into Ember Nest.
[Attention: Granting a subclass requires the target to be a retainer of your faction.] [Target Alger is currently your retainer.] [Preparing to construct class--]
