Background / History

Lin Kai, a player from the real world, transmigrated into Keosius’s body ten years before Erezege’s server opening. He awoke as the game’s first world boss: a young Red Dragon in the lair of his mother, Aclenia. Rather than remain amid her battle with the paladin Rhea, he chose to steal from Aclenia’s hoard and flee. 1

Unlike ordinary monsters, Keosius retained a player-style progression system. He hunted creatures for experience, embraced Sorcerer magic for its innate and intuitive nature, and built his early strength around mobility, utility, breath attacks, and metamagic rather than low-circle destructive spells. 4 5 7 26

After claiming the outer caverns of Giant’s Maw as his lair, he began gathering followers. He recruited the unusually intelligent ogre Lang Pu, ordered the construction of Ember Nest, and accepted a hobgoblin warlord and four hundred goblins as vassals. 10 12 13

Keosius’s expanding territory became the Embers of the Burned Kingdom and later the Embers of the Burned Empire. His Kingdom Domain elevated his authority inside his territory, while his coronation presented him as the legally and popularly supported Emperor of the new state. 150 382

His pursuit of greater power led him to Kareks, an ancient Red Dragon God whose remains contained an immense Progenitor Dragon legacy. Keosius seized Kareks’ body despite Jezal Slack’s attempted manipulation, then absorbed the Heart of Kareks—an act that granted him the Bloodscale Berserker class but also exposed him to chaos, destructive divinity, and periods of lost control. 270 272 273 283

After rising to demigodhood, Keosius fought beings approaching or possessing divine power, including Kostchtchie, Kazur, and Tiamat. He ultimately defeated Tiamat and the Dragon Worship Cult, claimed the Heart of Tiamat, and began a new evolution toward a Prismatic Void Dragon. 751 867 875 886

Keosius is a colossal, heavily built Red Dragon whose body has repeatedly outgrown normal draconic standards through Progenitor Dragon bloodline evolution and divine absorption.
