To enter Avendell Dan, one must first pass through a narrow valley in Blackstone Mountain, which the Dwarf call the Path of Glory.

The terrain here is precipitous, with towering cliffs on both sides and a fracture zone connected by a stone bridge in the middle. Majestic stone statues stand on both sides.

They are Du Ma Song, the god of minerals and gems; Klanjatin Silverbeard, the Dwarf god of war; Sa De Ha Er, the Dwarf god of hunting; Gond Gu Xin, the Dwarf god of defense and protection.

Deep within the Path of Glory lies a goddess with a thick beard, exceptionally beautiful in the eyes of the Dwarf —Xue Lin Duo, the Dwarf goddess of love and fertility.

As the gateway to Avendell Dan, this place is easy to defend and difficult to attack.

On the almost vertical rock walls on both sides, there are tunnels dug by the Dwarf, fortifications built by them, and bunkers at the top of the cliffs.

At the end of the valley stood an incredibly sturdy city wall, which the Dwarf proudly called the "Orc Tombstone."

Over thousands of years, the northern orcs have invaded south thirteen times, and eight of those invasions were stopped outside the "Orc Tombstone".

The walls are covered with old, mottled bloodstains. Although they have been repaired, they still show the fierce battles that took place here and highlight its glorious achievements.

Meanwhile, the Dwarf Fighter, clad in heavy armor and wielding fine bows, crossbows, and short spears, stood ready on the city walls, lurking in the tunnels on either side of the rock face.

On the city wall, the Dwarf Toru Aaron, clad in heavy animal skin armor and wearing a horned helmet, raised his head and downed the strong liquor in the barrel.

He wiped the remaining wine from the corner of his mouth, his cheeks flushed red, his eyes practically spitting fire, and roared at the Dwarf soldiers in front of him, "Brothers, where are you! This time we'll still keep them outside the walls, so these orc bastards can't even see the walls of Avendell Dan! Smash them flat!"

The strong smell of alcohol permeated the city walls, but no one found it pungent.

For Dwarf, drinking before battle to maintain their high spirits is perfectly normal.

The sight of their general drinking so heartily only fueled the Dwarf Fighter ' fighting spirit. They raised their warhammers high and let out joyful cheers.

"Long live King Ed!"

"Smash them! Avendell Dan will never fall!"

"The High Mountain Kingdom will never perish!"

The Dwarf appeared on the hills, in the tunnels, and on the city walls, standing ready and waiting for the orcish army to arrive.

The last orc invasion was four hundred years ago, and only the oldest Dwarf Priest experienced it firsthand, while the vast majority of Dwarf Fighter were not even born at that time.

Nevertheless, the Dwarf remained confident, firmly believing that the High Mountain Kingdom possessed the finest equipment and the most powerful Fighter in all of Fei An Suo.

"These damned, Gruumsh -worshipping bastards, if it weren't for them, I would still be drinking and having fun at this banquet."

The Dwarf general Toru climbed the watchtower, cursing and swearing, and looked into the distance, only to see a scene that instantly brought him to his senses.

"Great Moradin!"

Countless crazed orcs occupied the distant wilderness like mottled waves, interspersed with evil creatures such as Hill Giant, Ogre, Goblin.

Orc cavalry riding Worg galloped across the land, while vultures and giant eagles circled in the sky, along with numerous demon mercenaries from Hell.

Seeing this horrific sight, his hands trembled slightly, and he couldn't even hold the wine cup properly. The wooden barrel, which still contained some wine, fell off the city wall and smashed to pieces.

Despite boasting of being the greatest warrior of the High Mountain Kingdom, Toru Aaron never imagined that the orc army would come with such overwhelming force and momentum.

Compared to orcs, Dwarf have an absolute advantage in individual strength. Although Dwarf are shorter than ordinary humans, their high-density muscles and barrel-like physiques make them much heavier than average.

Dwarf are natural Fighter, possessing superb combat skills and unwavering willpower. They can withstand both physical and magical damage and crush their enemies with the heavy hammers they forge themselves. The Shield Dwarves of the High Mountain Kingdom are among the best of them all.

However, they also have a fatal flaw—they are few in number and have a weak reproductive capacity.

Even the High Mountain Kingdom, the most Dwarf kingdom in all of Fei An Suo, has a population of no more than 100,000, with most Dwarf scattered throughout the mountains.

In the capital of the High Mountain Kingdom, Avendell Dan, there were only a little over 20,000 Dwarf. Excluding the old, weak, sick, and disabled, there were no more than 12,000 Fighter capable of resisting the orcs.

On the desolate Ugo Great Prairie, the beastmen reproduced wildly and recklessly, almost turning up the grass in search of food.

For centuries, dozens of orc tribes have fought and killed each other according to a bloody tradition, vying for the strongest who could win Gruumsh's favor.

To this day, the powerful Orc Chieftain Batu Shatterskull has led the Red Fang Tribe to conquer twenty-three large clans and one hundred and fourteen small clans.

He united the more than one million orcs of the Ugo Prairie, gathered all their strength, and, following the will of the great Father God Gruumsh, once again invaded southward.

With the addition of mercenaries from Hell, as well as slave races such as Goblin, Ogre, and Hill Giant, the orc army is now dozens of times larger than the Dwarf stationed in Avendell Dan.

This is an absolutely terrifying number! Most Dwarf Fighter would never see so many orcs in their entire lives.

Amidst the surging tide of the orcish army, the Wasteland Striding Dragon let out muffled snorts, their high, bulging backs covered with yellowish-green weeds, resembling hillsides on the grasslands.

At the very top of his spine was a throne made of white bones, upon which sat an incredibly tall and strong orc.

He wore shoulder armor made of dragon scales and horns, and his bare upper body was covered with blood-red runes.

The orc's face was also particularly ferocious, with its huge, dark yellow fangs exposed, and only one of its murderous eyes remaining—the other eye was covered by leather, but the grotesque scratches were still visible.

Legend has it that during a battle with the Titan Divine Descendant, this Orc Chieftain disregarded a longsword aimed at his face and instead cleaved the opponent's skull with his battle axe, thus earning the title "Skullbreaker."

As a result, Batu Shatterskull also lost his left eye forever—just like their Father God, the One-Eyed God, Gruumsh.

After that battle, the orcs worshipped Batu even more, believing him to be an emissary sent by the Father God, a powerful being capable of leading the orcs to conquer the world.

Gazing at the majestic fortress gradually emerging in the distance, Batu Shatterskull slowly rose from the throne of bones, picked up the blood-stained giant axe at his feet, and revealed a maniacal smile.

"Hahaha, we've finally arrived! Avendell Dan, the city that will soon belong to us orcs."

Beside him, the hunched-over, aged Orc Shaman, his expression excited, said in a low, hoarse voice, "Excellent, excellent! Father God is watching over us! The orcs' thousand-year-old wish is about to be fulfilled! I heard Father God's joyful voice; he has approved of you! Lord Batu, you are the hero chosen by Father God. You will lead the orcs to conquer this continent and show the world the power of Gruumsh!"

The old shaman stepped forward, took out a handful of blood-red powder, and smeared it on the Orc Chieftain's forehead, drawing a one-eyed symbol between his eyebrows.

—That is the emblem of Gruumsh, the Unclosed Eye.

The moment the one-eyed figure drew the Batu Shatterskull felt a violent power surge through his body, and his blood was burning fiercely.

"Ah--"

The desire to kill, the ambition to conquer, and the flames of revenge ignited in his heart in an instant. The Orc Chieftain raised his giant axe high, and the blood-red light seemed to cleave the sky.

"It's the Father God appearing!"

"Praise be to the great one-eyed god! Praise be to Gruumsh!"

The orcs looked up at the blood-red light in the sky, their murky eyes filled with fanatical faith.

Finally, their gazes focused on Batu Shatterskull, the Orc Chieftain panting as he adjusted to the immense power.

Soon, the runes all over his body glowed with a blood-red aura, and his single, bloodshot eye was filled with fighting spirit and fanaticism. An incredibly powerful aura spread out, transforming into a fierce hurricane.

Batu stood up, looking down at the tens of thousands of orcs below, raising his battle axe with one arm.

"Fighter, rejoice! I have received the decree of the Great Father God!"

"If you want to die sooner, then show weakness. Those who are too weak to fight for your tribe should be pierced with spears!"

The greatest gift that the Watcher, the One-Eyed God Gruumsh, gave to the orcs was the ability to survive in places where weaker races would perish.

Build your power on these lands, and then use it to defeat your enemies!

Batu swung his giant axe once more, the chaotic blood-red light tearing through the heavy clouds and creating scarlet wounds in the sky. His voice grew increasingly impassioned, like a battle cry from the wilderness.

"Find opportunities to wage endless wars against your enemies, to kill or enslave those who oppose you!"

Go and take territory, go and take living space. Go and destroy the Elf, go and destroy their homes, go and destroy their land. Go and crush the Dwarf, take their caves and fortresses for yourselves.

Finally, the Orc Chieftain exhaled foul-smelling white smoke, raised his battle axe high, and roared hoarsely, "Destroy the High Mountain Kingdom! Conquer Avendell Dan!"

"Destroy the High Mountain Kingdom and conquer Avendell Dan!"

The beastmen, covering the mountains and plains, roared in unison, their voices terrifying the sky and shaking the earth, far more ferocious than the Dwarf.

"Attack!"

"Crush them!"

The Dwarf soldiers stationed on the outermost city wall and behind the hill rocks hastily engaged in battle, continuously firing arrows.

"Quick, stop them!"

"Too many! There are just too many orcs!"

"By Moradin, these ugly bastards are like rabbits on the plains, too numerous to count!"

"Whoosh—whoosh whoosh—"

Sharp arrows shot out, piercing through the orcs and pinning them to the ground, but the orcs behind them advanced without hesitation, stepping over the corpses of their own kind.

There were only three to five hundred Dwarf on the outermost defensive line, but tens of thousands of orcs crowded outside the city walls.

The arrows, like those thrown into a mottled river, silently disappeared into the beastmen, causing only a tiny ripple.

Meanwhile, the orc tribal leaders began directing Hill Giant and Half Giant orcs to carry heavy tree trunks and smash them against the wooden gate.

"Hey!"

"Boom—Boom—"

The dull thuds echoed repeatedly as the Dwarf on the city walls rained arrows down upon the city, but to no avail.

Strong, sturdy Dwarf Fighter carried barrels of liquor and emerged from a narrow tunnel nearby, hurling the barrels filled with spirits and gunpowder at the orcish horde.

"Boom!"

The barrel suddenly shattered, creating a massive explosion. The overflowing flames instantly engulfed more than a dozen orcs, slightly slowing their attack.

But soon, the Dwarf warrior was struck by an arrow from an orc longbowman, and just as he was about to retaliate, he was crushed by boulders hurled by Hill Giant.

Giant eagles and vultures circled in mid-air, obeying the bone whistles of the orc tamers, and occasionally swooped down from the sky to peck out the Dwarf ' eyes.

Several giant eagles even circled around a Dwarf Fighter, flapping their wings and obstructing his view, causing the Dwarf, unable to bear the disturbance, to fall off the city wall.

"Tear this Dwarf to shreds!"

"His head is mine!"

Instantly, dozens of orcs who had been eyeing the city wall swarmed forward and tore the unfortunate Dwarf to pieces.

Blood splattered everywhere, and pieces of flesh flew about. In the tearing and looting by the beastmen, he didn't even have a single intact arm left.

Under the fierce attack of tens of thousands of orcs, the hundreds of Dwarf warriors on the front line suffered heavy casualties, and many retreated to the tunnels.

Batu Shatterskull stood atop the towering back of the steppe land dragon, pointing his giant axe at Avendell Dan in the distance, his heavy, hoarse voice echoing across the land.

"Destroy their walls, crush the Dwarf ' morale! Hahahaha, they only fear us! They fear the existence of the orcs!"

The Hill Giant and Half Giant orcs carrying tree trunks took turns rushing to the city walls and ramming against the heavy oak doors.

With a dull thud, the gaps and cracks on the city gate grew larger and larger, and the Dwarf soldiers guarding the gate showed signs of panic.

"Snap!"

With a crisp sound, the thick oak city gate finally gave way and shattered completely, revealing the hundreds of Dwarf Fighter had been holding the line.

"Hahaha! Charge!"

"Crush these Dwarf! Offer their blood as a sacrifice to the Father God!"

The hundreds of Dwarf Fighter, clad in armor, wielded heavy hammers, smashing the orcs charging at the front into mincemeat, killing hundreds of orcs in an instant.

But the orcs surged forward relentlessly, instantly engulfing the hundred or so Dwarf.

"My brothers, sons of Moradin, never yield!"

The Dwarf Fighter let out a final roar. He swung his warhammer furiously, smashing the head of an orc, but was still struck by several short spears at the same time and fell to the ground.

And so, the frenzied battle cries echoed through the valley, and the orcs, like a floodgate opened, surged wildly into the "Path of Glory" of the High Mountain Kingdom.

Their target is Eldvindan, the capital of the High Mountain Kingdom.
