In the distance, the pitch-black Doomsday Dragon lowered his head to look down at Keosius. A piercing gleam shone from his dark golden vertical pupils, his gaze filled with undisguised mockery and amusement.
He tilted his massive head and said coldly, "You think this is enough to contend against me? Keosius, you are far too arrogant."
Kazur's voice grew increasingly thunderous before finally becoming an enraged roar. "With only this—you dare oppose a god who brings about doomsday?!"
Amid that earth-shattering roar, a black torrent a hundred meters in diameter erupted from the Great Wyrm Red Dragon's mouth, surging mightily toward Keosius.
At that moment, the world itself seemed to fall silent, leaving only the explosive roar of that black light destroying all things. This was the breath capable of bringing doomsday.
"Boom—"
Keosius roared and beat his dragon wings, soaring into the air on a scorching gale. He raised his right claw high as vast thunder gathered, condensing in his palm into a silvery-white spear a thousand meters long.
Surrounded by storm clouds, the Embers of the Burned Emperor stood amid rumbling thunder and flashing lightning. Like the ruler of the storm itself, he hurled the spear formed from pure energy with all his strength.
Spear of Lightning!
Silvery-white lightning streaked across the sky, tearing through the ash-shrouded heavens as it met the black torrent head-on.
Kazur's Doomsday Breath was a product of divine power. Even weak, incomplete divine power stood on an entirely different level from mortal elemental magic, not to mention that it was infused with the most destructive of all powers—Destructive Divine Power.
Yet the Spear of Lightning unleashed by Keosius was no less formidable. It was neither ordinary elemental lightning nor Storm Giant magic, but Destructive Divine Lightning that Keosius had seized from Golazdra.
