Since Ivette would not let her attend the General Studies Academy, Lucia immediately lost both her anticipation for electives and her goal. She became listless and simply went with the flow. It was quite a practical choice. Both Lucia and Anya used fire-based combat techniques, so learning to understand fire magic would greatly improve their chances of passing the course and strengthen them as well.

Without some money and energy to spare, ordinary people really could not afford a contract beast.
