Eileen Parker lived in a well-located apartment building. When Ivette arrived by taxi, she happened to see two police officers coming down from upstairs with helpless expressions.

She went to Room 805 on the eighth floor and knocked on the door. Then she saw the pale-faced Miss Eileen open it and say, "You finally came, Miss Nameless!"

Without caring whether they were familiar with each other, Eileen gave Ivette a tight hug, then held onto her and ushered her into the apartment before closing the door.

Ivette understood how she felt, so she did not mind. She asked, "I just saw the police. What did they say?"
