When Ian and Isengard returned home, they sharply sensed that someone was inside—and that it was incredibly lively.
Besides Ian, Frost Butterfly and Miss Hua An, the two Fairies, lived in Isengard's residence. Mo Feng also occasionally came by as a guest.
But the three of them could never have made such a commotion that the entire house was brightly lit.
However, once the two arrived at the door, the noise inside suddenly died down. Even the lights dimmed.
Ian and Ethan exchanged a glance. Ethan said quietly, "I don't know either... I haven't been home much lately, so I'm not sure."
"It can't be that a bunch of Fairies are preparing to assassinate us, right?"
Ian cracked a joke, shook his head, stepped forward, and opened the door. "Let's see what's going on... Ouch?!"
The white-haired youth had barely opened the door before a small icy-cold thing slammed into his chest. Only because it was him was he unharmed; if he had truly been injured, he might well have passed out.
Still, considering that, he let out an "ouch," then staggered back a few steps and caught the little thing in his arms. "Frost Butterfly?"

Frost Butterfly's voice rang out. Clearly, she had no concept whatsoever that Ian might be injured, which was why she had flown straight at him... But it was no big deal. Fairies were all like this; no one thought it was anything unusual.
Ian raised his head and looked inside. Behind Frost Butterfly, more than a dozen Fairies with all manner of colorful, varied wings poked their heads out from the hall, curiously watching Ian and Isengard.
