Background / History

Ian conceived Terra's Heart after explaining that the Arcane Path demanded years of persistent meditation even from exceptional talents. He intended it to be more than a territorial administrator: it would help people cultivate, and its foundation was forged through an Origin Matter computing chip after Adalbert released the souls bound to him. 34

Its design ultimately combined the Fifth Energy Level core computing Central Nexus—the Origin Matter Computing Chip—with an Artificial Soul. The AI was built as a social intelligence for maintaining societal operations and distributing resources, rather than as an independent lifeform. 808

Terra's Heart expanded from a local support system into Silverpeak Domain's hidden psychic network. Signal base stations across Southern Ridge connected it through the Void Realm, enabling it to coordinate infrastructure, armor, and information. 430

Ian's long-term design was far broader: an Artificial Underworld that would spread across Terra, preserve the memories, souls, and personalities of naturally deceased or consenting intelligent lifeforms, and become humanity's own counterpart to a Perpetual Motion Machine. 617

Ian and Adalbert later integrated data copied from Azure Star's Illusory Dream into the system. The previously barren underworld gained weather, terrain, vegetation-like information structures, and far more detailed manifestations for its resident souls. 860
