The fairies' grand banquet was actually another name for the "Fairy Grand Council," an important event used to decide the future course of action for a region's fairy clans.
That said, expecting a group of fairies to sit quietly in a conference hall and follow rules like "you raise a motion, I vote in agreement" was impossible.
Just as Dwarves made their truly important decisions at the dinner table, and Elves always made decisions while drinking tea, fairies simply could not settle anything without holding a banquet and celebrating in lively fashion.
Before Hua An and Frost Butterfly returned, the Primordial Fairies possessed very little intelligence. Even their forms resembled tiny mosaic-like butterflies... or rather, large moths.
The smartest among them was Frost Butterfly herself, who vaguely possessed a humanoid shape and a little intelligence.
But not much.
After their nest had been enlightened, the Primordial Fairies within the South Sea Grand Labyrinth began to possess a little intelligence... in other words, they also began to develop thinking habits somewhat similar to those of fairies.
Of course, none of that mattered to Sha Sha.
It was the Crystal Lake's Great General, ordinarily charged with guarding Crystal Lake and protecting the undersea passage. It could not play along with these little fairies' childish games!
What troubled Sha Sha most was one thing.
That was, after gaining intelligence, the Hot Water Fairies' forms had become... a little too appetizing.
