The Operation Begins!

Three days later, in a small border town in Country M, a black off-road vehicle drove into town.

"Shadow, the people from Dragon King Hall are here," Virgo said, lying prone on a high patch of mountain ground outside the town.

She held a fully modified Barrett, its 7/12 Spirit Eye sniper scope capturing every movement from Dragon King Hall.

"Copy. The target is about to appear at the tavern," Jiang Junyi replied from where he was hidden in the shadows. "Mighty Dragon, Leo, report your status."

"I'm in position."

"Leo in position!"

"The gunshot is the signal. Proceed according to plan," Jiang Junyi said in a low voice.

"Understood," the two replied together.

The comms channel fell into silence. Before a beast hunted, it always needed to lie in wait for a while.

As for the owner of the town tavern, he was in an excellent mood today. In this godforsaken place, someone had actually bought his tavern outright.

He was going to take the money to the central city and live it up properly. Ideally, he would order a few women with killer figures.

After the owner left, this place became the trading venue for Dragon King Hall and Night Crow.
