Background / History

Jiang Junyi is a transmigrator and the eldest young master of Jiang City’s Jiang Family. When his family intends to dissolve his engagement to the declining Wan Family, he learns from the Pure Love System that his blind and paralyzed fiancée, Wan Qingyun, is the world’s ultimate supervillain and his designated Pure Love target. He chooses to uphold the engagement and pursue her, seeking both to protect her and to earn Pure Love Points. 1

He first intervenes when Wan Feng and Li Rong attempt to mistreat Wan Qingyun. With Uncle Wu and Jiang Family guards behind him, he cripples Wan Feng’s bodyguards, has Li Rong’s pointing finger broken, forces Wan Feng to kneel before Wan Qingyun, and introduces himself to her gently. 3

Jiang Wudao later entrusts him with the Tiger Tally and command of the Jiang Family’s hidden White Court. Jiang Junyi also inherits and upgrades the family’s ancestral Dragon-Phoenix Auspicious Union Cultivation Technique through Pure Love Points. 7

Personality

Jiang Junyi is decisive and intimidating when confronting enemies or anyone who threatens those under his protection. He personally humiliates Wan Feng, rescues Wan Xiaoxiao from Su Luo, and orders Su Luo’s limbs broken after giving Wan Xiaoxiao the opportunity to retaliate. 3 13

Around Wan Qingyun, he is openly affectionate, theatrical, possessive, and frequently playful. He calls her “wife,” engineers excuses for physical closeness, and is easily made jealous by her friendship with Su Ling; despite this, he is sincerely pleased that Wan Qingyun gains a friend outside their relationship. 9 37 58 62

He is also resourceful and strategic.
