Background / History

Number One was one of three men recruited by Old Feng to portray brutal debt collectors in Jiang Junyi's plan involving Su Shuangshuang. His assigned specialty was intimidation. 30

He, Number Two, and Number Three grew up as struggling street children before becoming devoted servants of the Jiang Family. Their shared past and loyalty to Jiang Junyi motivate them to accept dangerous assignments and protect one another. 80

During the Medicine King Valley operation, Number One entered an underground laboratory with the Trio and Bun Brother to recover the Earth Dragon Blood Amber and rescue Chen Anran. He broke through the final door despite the danger, then held off an elder researcher while severely injured so the others could continue the mission. 79 80

Personality

Number One is loyal, protective, and willing to endure injury for his companions or Jiang Junyi's cause. He treats the Trio's shared fate seriously and refuses to abandon a mission even when outmatched. 80

He can also be mischievous and manipulative alongside the other Trio members, particularly when exploiting their childhood familiarity with Liang Qiqi. 147 In civilian situations, he shows a strong sense of fairness: he intervened when a tattooed detainee bullied Chu Tiankuo and later helped resolve a bank-hostage crisis through negotiation. 107 219
