Andrew understood what Emilia meant. He raised his hand, and a bottle of blood appeared in it. "This is an Artificial Blood Bottle. Put gold coins into it, and it will produce artificial blood, solving your food problem.
"Let me make this clear first: all vampires may consume only artificial blood. If any of you dare attack anyone else, don't blame me for showing no mercy."
"Thank you, Director of S.W.O.R.D. Please rest assured. I'll keep them in line."
Emilia nodded and happily accepted the bottle. Then something occurred to her. "Director of S.W.O.R.D., we vampires own a great deal of property on Earth, but we have no use for it now. Could we sell it to you in exchange for gold coins in the game?"
"Selling real-world assets for in-game gold? You really know how to squander a fortune."
Andrew chuckled and agreed. Delighted, Emilia took the bottle and left.
"Vampires and werewolves might come in handy someday."
Watching Lucien and Emilia walk away, Andrew shook his head and gave the matter little further thought. They were merely two spare pieces on the board. Who knew when they might prove useful?
