Seeing the Three-tailed Demon King's terrifying might, the cultists grew even more excited. They wished they could offer their bodies and souls to the Demon King. They had gambled correctly; all the other humans had lost.
The White House quickly learned what had happened in Los Angeles. A Military general hurriedly said to the President, "Mr. President, this should be the Demon King that Angel mentioned. I suggest we immediately launch a nuclear missile at Los Angeles and eliminate the Demon King.
"Otherwise, if the Demon King descends upon America, our country may be destroyed."
"This..."
The President hesitated before saying, "Bring the case. Aim it at the sky and launch it. Keep the destruction to a minimum."
"Understood."
The general was overjoyed. Someone soon brought over the case. The President entered the password, sighed, and said, "May God bless America."
After saying that, the President pressed the button. The code was transmitted to a Secret Base, where the soldiers immediately entered it into the system and initiated the launch.
Then... well, then nothing happened. The President was utterly dumbfounded. Where was the nuclear missile? What happened to the promised nuclear missile? Why was there no response at all? Could it have broken down from not being used for too long?
The general flew into a rage. They had finally managed to sell a nuclear missile, yet there was no response at all? How were the Military supposed to keep selling nuclear missiles in the future?
"If nothing unexpected happened, the Mechanical Angel should have intervened and stopped it," an aide said hesitantly.
The President felt deeply stifled upon hearing that. He could not even control his own nuclear missiles. How was that any different
