Beelzebub regained his freedom. His eyes flickered, as though he wanted to flee, but in the end, he did nothing and stood there quietly.
Beelzebub did nothing because he knew perfectly well that he could not escape—the magic power within him had all come from the Sloth Demon King and the Gluttony Demon King. If they could give it to him, they could naturally take it back.

Then Beelzebub's green body began to disappear. He remained calm. This was nothing; his body was already damaged beyond repair anyway.
But soon, Beelzebub's expression changed. Once his body had vanished completely, his soul began to disappear as well.

Beelzebub questioned him urgently. A soul was just as vital to a Demon King as his body. Unlike a body, which could be restored through many methods, a soul was exceedingly difficult to repair, often requiring a hundred or even a thousand years to recover.
