Then Athena's consciousness returned to her body. She opened her eyes with an unhappy expression. Hermione asked in confusion, "Athena, why do you look like you fell into a toilet?"
Athena looked at Hermione speechlessly. What kind of comparison was that? When had I, Athena, ever needed to use a toilet?
"More disgusting than falling into a toilet."
Athena sighed. "What was I thinking, finding myself a boss like this?"
Hermione was astonished. "Athena, have you officially joined Director of S.W.O.R.D.'s side?"
"Just hearing that makes it obvious it's Director of S.W.O.R.D. You can imagine just how awful that guy is."
Athena complained. At that moment, a figure appeared out of thin air in the Labyrinth and said helplessly, "I've told you before, if you're going to badmouth your boss, the most important thing is to make sure your boss doesn't hear it."
The newcomer was Andrew, though not his true body, but a magical avatar. His true body was still in the Abyss of Hell.
"Director of S.W.O.R.D."
Hermione hurriedly greeted him, while shooting Athena an annoyed glance. Wasn't she so proud earlier? Why didn't she keep being proud?
"Director of S.W.O.R.D."
Though Athena was unhappy, she greeted him respectfully as well. Andrew nodded and said, "No time to waste. Let's go find Medusa. Athena, get ready. Don't worry, your sacrifice will be worthwhile."
"Usually, I'm the one who says that to my subordinates."
Athena complained, then sighed. "I owe Medusa. It's only right that I let her beat me up."
Hermione blinked, completely baffled. What were they talking about? Why couldn't she understand any of it?
"I told you to make your move faster, but you dragged your feet. Now look, Athena got there first."
Tracy said, "When Athena closed her eyes earlier, she must have been secretly
