Al was enraged. He climbed to his feet, threw back his cloak, and shouted angrily, "Are you looking to die?"

"Sorry, but you can't kill me."

Having successfully sent Al flying, Bruce's confidence soared. He said, "There are lots of Scorpions crawling all over you, biting you."

"Are you a child?"

Al mocked him. Just then, intense pain suddenly shot through his entire body. Looking down, he found Scorpions everywhere on him, all of them biting him.

"Be a good person, monster. God will forgive you."

Bruce burst into laughter, then turned and walked away with devilish swagger, thoroughly pleased with himself and utterly arrogant.

Why had Bruce become like this? It went back to several dozen minutes earlier. After crashing into a utility pole, he had fled to the shore in embarrassment. Then, he began his usual routine: cursing God.

"God, just how much do you hate me? Why are you tormenting me like this? I've believed in you for decades, yet you've never once looked after me!"

Bruce cursed furiously until his voice was hoarse. Then he let out a breath and prepared to go home and sleep.

At that moment, Bruce received a text message containing an address. He assumed it was spam and ignored it, but the messages kept pouring in, one after another, until his phone was practically about to explode.

Bruce simply turned off his phone, but strangely, even after it shut down, the screen remained lit and messages continued appearing one after another.

"You want to play with me? Fine, I'll play."

Fury rising in his chest, Bruce strode toward the address. It was a building that had just finished its basic renovations, with white walls on all sides. It looked utterly empty.
