"Boss, if you weren't covering the gas money, I'd definitely be falling out with you."

Van Helsing said, and Gabriel complained, "Can you show a little ambition? You're an Archangel, and you care about that tiny bit of gas money?"

"You don't use gas, so of course you don't care."

Van Helsing rolled his eyes and began monitoring Bruce. Before long, he noticed that while Bruce appeared to be conducting interviews, he kept glancing toward space. Clearly, he knew about the meteors.

"If he knows, why hasn't he acted? With God's Strength, what are a few meteors worth?"

Van Helsing was deeply puzzled, but he did nothing more and waited quietly. Just then, he noticed that all three meteors changed direction at once.

Two of the smaller ones, trailing long tails, descended toward the park. The remaining meteor—the largest one—headed toward the slums.

Why was that?

The reason was simple. If all three meteors landed in the park, the impact would be too great and might harm the people there. That was why Bruce only allowed two meteors to fall into the park.

As for why he sent the last meteor toward the slums, the reason was equally simple: God's Intuition!

Bruce's intuition told him that smashing it over there was best, so that was where he sent it. He was God now, and God could not be wrong. If he was, uh, he could just kill everyone who knew about it, and then it would not count.

"What is this guy doing?"

Van Helsing was thoroughly dumbfounded, and Gabriel felt the same. What exactly was this New God trying to do?

After hesitating for a long time, Van Helsing still did not intervene. According to the calculations, the two smaller meteors would not harm the civilians in the park.
