"Die, all of you! My cannons are the strongest!"
Prince Shen roared. He did not care whether those three shells would hit his own troops. He only wanted to blast everyone to death and prove that his cannons were the strongest.
If he could not prove that, what meaning did all his efforts over the years have?
Prince Shen's original cannonballs had been iron balls that did not explode, injuring people through impact alone. But with Chthon's guidance, he had successfully made explosive shells. The three he had just fired were precisely that kind, and they were extremely lethal.
Andrew frowned. He had no choice but to sweep the Green Jade Staff in circles, using tai chi movements to divert the three shells to one side and send them all plunging into the sea.
"That's impossible!"
Prince Shen could not believe it. His cannons posed no threat whatsoever to those kung fu experts?
Andrew's change of moves gave Death an opening. Death stomped hard, shattered the deck, and dropped swiftly through it.
At the same time, Set, General Zod, Alesha, Billy, and Homelander all jumped toward the sea, clearly intending to flee—or, to put it more nicely, retreat.
Not only that, Death ordered every corpse to attack the enemy relentlessly. Smoke even rose from some of them as their fuses burned.
Death had planted explosives on some of the corpses. In fact, if there had been enough explosives, every corpse would have become a walking bomb. They had not told Prince Shen about this, however, so they had not managed to obtain very many.
In fact, telling Prince Shen would not have helped. He would never have agreed.
