Andrew shook his head. Meanwhile, in the virtual world, Wade stared blankly at the zeros and ones that kept appearing around him. Wasn't I heading back to the Main World? Why did I end up in this godforsaken place?

Beside Wade, Long-haired Superman asked in astonishment. For the past few months, they had been killing bugs on the planet to keep them from multiplying too quickly and endangering the universe.
But a few days ago, those bugs had suddenly grown much stronger and even started using tactics. Caught off guard, Long-haired Superman had been severely injured, leaving Wade no choice but to flee with him.
This had happened because the bugs' leader, the Brood Mother, had contacted the Zerg Overlord and gained greater powers. That was why Long-haired Superman had been injured. In fact, without Wade, he would most likely have been killed.
The Zerg's greatest advantage was their sheer numbers. Even Wade's teleportation had not stopped them from cornering him—he courted death every single day, so the Zerg had obtained his complete genetic material and used it to create mutant bugs with different abilities.
Left with no other choice, Wade had taken Long-haired Superman and forced his way into an unfinished space channel. One wrong move later, they had stumbled into the virtual world.
"You're asking me? Who am I supposed to ask?"
Wade looked utterly bewildered. Long-haired Superman nearly coughed up blood. You brought me here! Who else am I supposed to ask?
