Death asked, "Honestly, I don't understand. How did you become a zombie? We Five Creator Gods are all pure energy lifeforms. How could we possibly become zombies?"
"No, the first thing I did was look for Wade."
Zombie Death smiled. Death was astonished. Did I love Wade that much? Thanos's face nearly darkened with anger. Why did Death favor that lunatic Wade so much?
"Don't misunderstand. I looked for Wade because he can never die. In other words, as long as I eat him, he'll keep reviving inside my stomach, then I can eat him again, and he'll revive again."
Zombie Death said with a satisfied expression, "That way, I'll have food that can never be finished."
Not just Thanos—even Death herself couldn't help thinking, You're vicious.
"Did you find Wade?"
Thanos asked excitedly. He had been furious before, but now he desperately hoped Zombie Death had found Wade.
"I really wanted to find Wade, but unfortunately, I couldn't. He isn't in this universe."
Zombie Death shook her head and said disappointedly, "All right, let me answer your previous question. Why did I become a zombie?
"Because the virus was a mutated Alternate-Universe Bio-Virus. Even energy beings aren't immune to this virus. They can become zombies too.
"Some time ago, Resident Evil broke out on Earth. Eternity sensed something was wrong, as if it was connected to another universe. Galactus happened to be near Earth, so Eternity had Silver Surfer bring Galactus to Earth to investigate.
"As a result, both Silver Surfer and Galactus became zombies. We were shocked, and disagreements arose because of it. I believed Earth should be destroyed to stop Resident Evil from spreading, because Resident Evil would disrupt the balance of the Universe.
