"Relax. Insanity doesn't run in my family."
Andrew stopped laughing and said to the Star God, "Star God, do you think what I just used was the Banishment Ability?"
"Wasn't it?"
The Star God asked suspiciously. His true body was the Compound V Big Tree, and he had only recently been born. With little experience to draw on, he was still relatively "innocent."
"Of course it was."
Andrew nodded. Everyone stared at him speechlessly. If it was, what was the point of that question? Andrew continued, "But it wasn't just the Banishment Ability. I used another ability too."
"What ability?"
The Star God hurriedly asked. Andrew smiled. "Simple. An ability that accelerates burning."
"An ability that accelerates burning?"
The Star God froze, then realized what Andrew meant. He whipped his head toward the man on the ground and discovered that he had already lost consciousness. Worse still, only a tiny fragment of his soul remained unburned.
"You used abilities on both me and my believer at the same time?"
The Star God's expression turned hideous. Secretly preparing a Killing Move, he demanded angrily. The man had summoned him, and once the man's soul burned away completely, he would be expelled.
Of course, as a native god, the Star God could descend in person if he wished. But he would not do that. Descending in person made it far too easy for others to discover something was amiss. If the Mechanical Demon King and Chthon discovered him, he would be finished.
"Exactly. In fact, using the Expulsion Ability on you was just a feint. The ability I used on that fellow was the real Killing Move."
Andrew smiled. "I'm kindhearted. I can't bear to see people suffer, so while accelerating the burning, I used the intense pain to knock him out."
