The Life Great Tree did not care. As far as they were concerned, Kaguya Otsutsuki had probably been trying to find a way to escape their control. Unfortunately, she was dreaming.
Kaguya Otsutsuki could not possibly escape the Life Great Tree. Not only were their bodies joined, but parts of their souls were connected as well. Under those circumstances, how could she possibly break free?

Then the Life Great Tree stopped paying attention to Kaguya Otsutsuki and focused on increasing their strength. Midnight was approaching, and they were a little nervous. Growing stronger helped ease that nervousness.
This was the Life Great Tree's first time participating in something so momentous. Being nervous was perfectly normal. Even someone born a Skyfather would still get nervous when the occasion called for it.
Seeing that the Life Great Tree had stopped questioning her, Kaguya Otsutsuki secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Then irritation rose within her. That frivolous man had nearly gotten her caught.
"All right, I've said everything I needed to say. Lady Kaguya, I'm ready to begin. Don't resist. I'll be very gentle."
Andrew continued speaking. Although Kaguya Otsutsuki was somewhat displeased with his frivolous manner, she gritted her teeth and truly lowered all her defenses.
