Elsewhere, Hades faced Kaguya Otsutsuki. Knowing that the Life Great Tree had a clone, he summoned the Death Giant immediately after launching a volley of Spears of Death. Now it was two against two.
Kaguya Otsutsuki almost laughed when she saw Hades summon the Death Giant. She knew that move too. Better yet, this set of Rule Abilities consisted of three techniques, and she knew all three, while Hades knew only the first two.
"Life Great Tree, you don't have to follow the King of Negativity. I wasn't lying earlier. If you're willing to help us, we're willing to make you our leader."
Hades tried to persuade her again. Kaguya Otsutsuki shook her head and said, "Hades, I'm not as stupid as you think. Let's stop wasting words and fight."
With that, Kaguya Otsutsuki wasted no time. She opened her mouth, and a torrent of flames roared out, swarming toward Hades and the Death Giant.
Hades snorted and opened his mouth as well. His Death Wind formed a black storm, seeking to kill every last flame.
The flames rapidly dwindled in the fierce wind. But just as they shrank to tiny flickers, they suddenly swelled into Black-and-White Charmanders and charged at Hades again.
Somewhat startled, Hades tried to have the Death Giant intercept the Charmanders. But the moment the Death Giant's hand touched one, it caught fire. Worse still, the black-and-white flames rapidly spread up the Death Giant's arm.
The Death Giant immediately severed its own arm; it would regenerate anyway. Just then, a mass of Charmanders surrounded it. The Death Giant had no choice but to retreat while continuously creating Spears of Death and firing them at the Black-and-White Charmanders.
