The King of Negativity is a Compound V Big Tree who became ruler of the Negative Legion, an opportunity regarded as the greatest advantage granted to any of the Big Trees. His true body is a Sky-Piercing Tree rooted in the Depths of Hell, where he can draw upon immense Negative Energy and command the legion formed from it. Chthon is described as his “father” only in the sense that Chthon created or planted him; neither initially cared for the relationship beyond its usefulness 2344 2567 3363.

His early authority relied heavily on the Negative King’s Brand. He granted exceptional subordinates such as the Void Demoness and the female commander permission to absorb multiple forms of Negative Energy, while retaining hidden influence over them. This control proved unstable: the Void Demoness eventually denounced his attempt to control her mind and defected 2521 2357.

Andrew considered the King too dangerous to leave unchecked because of his explosive growth rate and his command of the Negative Legion. He is controlling, suspicious, and prone to treating allies as future subordinates. He seeks restrictions that can dominate a target’s mind rather than merely ensure their compliance, as shown by his attempt to place a Negative Power leaf on Black Dragon 3420. At the same time, he is cautious with his true body, valuable soul-bearing clones, Origin Essence, and trump cards after repeated losses to Andrew 2724 3360.

Repeated defeats gradually made him more politically calculating and less deferential toward Chthon. However, his pride and desire for recognition leave him highly vulnerable to flattery.
