"My Mission is different from yours. My Mission is to first try to destroy humanity, then turn over a new leaf and follow the superheroes in saving the world."
Cassandra snorted first, then asked in surprise, "Wait, you really intend to destroy Earth? You should know that Boss won't allow that to happen."
"The King of Abilities definitely won't allow it. We can't possibly succeed. Even in the incredibly unlikely event that we do, the King of Abilities will kill us afterward, and it'll be particularly brutal."
Galacta added, "So I think we don't need to take this too seriously. Just going through the motions should be enough."
"No. Have you forgotten the warning in the Mission? If our performance isn't convincing enough, we'll be erased."
Doctor Doom said, "That's why we have to act as though we mean it. The Mission doesn't require us to succeed. We just have to do our best.
"If we actually succeed, we'll gain enormous benefits. As for the King of Abilities settling the score afterward, don't worry. The Mission only asks us to destroy Earth, not kill everyone on it."
Galacta scoffed, "Is there any difference? If Earth is gone, how can its people survive?"
"Of course they can. When you devour Earth, just use your energy to protect everyone on it."
Doctor Doom said, "If you can't protect everyone, find a way to protect their souls. Afterward, resurrect them and have them migrate to another planet.
"As long as there aren't mass casualties, I believe the King of Abilities and the Mechanical Demon King won't give us trouble. Our becoming stronger benefits him too. After all, we're working for him."
Galacta snorted. "After all that talk, you just want to get stronger, don't you?"
"It's not just about getting stronger."
