The King of Negativity shook his head and said, "The King of Abilities probably won't cooperate with the female demon. Life Great Tree, stick to our previous strategy, but be more careful so the King of Abilities doesn't find you."
"Understood. I'll have White Zetsu keep an eye on that male lead while I continue looking for protagonists from other movies."
Kaguya Otsutsuki nodded and got moving again. After hearing her account, The Intermediary looked troubled. Until the King of Abilities intervened, everything had followed the movie's plot exactly.
"With accuracy like that, could it really be a projection of the universe?"
The Intermediary felt his consciousness slipping into confusion and hurriedly stopped letting his thoughts wander. Death, standing nearby, said, "Intermediary, we can't possibly be fake. Those supposed inconsistencies you encountered were all things the Mechanical Demon King deliberately let you see."
Chthon was worried that something might happen to The Intermediary, so he had asked Death to keep an eye on him to stop him from truly going mad.
The Intermediary looked at Death and said coldly, "Do you think I'm the kind of idiot who believes whatever someone tells him?"
Death fell silent. In her mind, The Intermediary—or rather, the Lord of Order—was an idiot. Why else would he believe he was a comic book character?
"Intermediary, I'm a Creation God. I've existed since the birth of the multiverse. I know perfectly well whether this universe is real."
Death spoke, and The Intermediary replied, "Tony Stark isn't from this world, but his background is incredibly detailed and authentic. You can even dig up his father's bones."
"You went and dug up Howard Stark's bones?"
Death was dumbfounded. Sure, we're villains, but going off and digging up someone's ancestor's bones for no reason? Isn't that going too far?
