These Ability Users were trapped in the hall, confused and furious. What was going on? Why were they trapped here? Shouldn't they have been sent out of the Secret Realm?
Mary found Wade and quietly asked, "Wade, what exactly is going on? And where's that guy?"
Wade occasionally used his methods to restore his original appearance, so Mary recognized this version of him. Wade recognized Mary as well. He lowered his voice and said, "I don't know what's going on either, but Boss is probably reaping the rewards."
"That really is just like him. Wade, let me warn you first: if that guy really is in this world, then everything's fine. But if you dare lie to me, even with your Immortal Body, I'll make you regret it for the rest of your life."
Mary said viciously. Wade replied, "Don't worry, he's definitely here. Let me tell you—"
Before Wade could finish, a bolt of Thunderbolt fell from the sky and struck him directly, turning him into a charred corpse. Mary hurriedly retreated to avoid being struck as well. As for whether Wade was alive or dead, there was no need to worry about that.
The commotion caused by the Thunderbolt made everyone turn their heads. Seeing Wade's charred body, they were all astonished. Why had this guy been struck by lightning?
Just then, Wade suddenly opened his mouth and spat out a cloud of black smoke. Then he said, "That lightning is the real deal. You can tell at a glance it came from Thor of Asgard."
"You mean the Secret Realm's owner is punishing you?"
Betty walked over and asked. Worried that she might be struck by lightning too, she did not come too close.
"Although there's no proof, probably."
Wade shrugged. Then the charred marks on his
