Immortal Kang glanced at Chthon and sneered. Every time Chthon laid out a plan before, he had been this confident, convinced he could defeat the King of Abilities. Yet every time, he had been beaten like a dog.
To be honest, Immortal Kang somewhat admired Chthon. What kind of mindset did it take to fail repeatedly and still remain brimming with confidence every single time? Not just anyone could manage that.
Hearing Immortal Kang's mockery, Chthon's expression turned somewhat ugly. He said, "We just fought the King of Abilities yesterday. I know very well what level he is currently at.
"Immortal Kang, as long as you hand the Mysterious Organization's power over to me, I'm confident I can defeat the King of Abilities. Of course, once the battle is over, the Mysterious Organization will cease to exist."
Though the Mysterious Organization was powerful, conventional methods could not defeat the King of Abilities. Chthon intended to use an unconventional method—using Black Magic to unleash the potential of those Doomsday Gene Warriors. Once the time ran out, they would immediately die.
How could Immortal Kang not know Chthon's methods? He snorted coldly. "Do as you please, but you cannot touch the scientists. You may only use the Mysterious Organization's armed forces. I'll give you an identity, and you can go command them.
"Of course, whether you can subdue them will depend on your own abilities. I don't have time to deal with such trivial matters right now. I need to develop the Perfect Doomsday Gene as quickly as possible."
As he spoke, Immortal Kang sneered inwardly. The Mysterious Organization's combat system was quite a trap. Hopefully, you can really keep it under control.
"No problem. I only need an identity that allows me to command them."
