The Brand Andrew left in the Tree of Time's consciousness had two effects. One was perception: whatever the Tree of Time did, he could sense it.
However, this ability needed some time before it could take effect. The Brand had to thoroughly seep into the Tree of Time's consciousness before it could be activated; otherwise, it would be discovered.
The other effect was Explosion. Once activated, it would severely damage the Tree of Time's consciousness. In a battle of life and death, such an explosion would be enough to determine victory or defeat.
"The Tree of Time possesses the Power of Time. If circumstances weren't special right now, successfully placing a Brand without Its noticing would have been nearly impossible. Huh, there's something wrong with the Tree of Time's soul..."
Andrew noticed something and narrowed his eyes—in the past time stream, the Tree of Time had already found it extremely difficult just to maintain Its own existence. It simply could not sense anything else, which was why Andrew had succeeded.
The Tree of Time knew none of this. Its consciousness returned to the present time stream, and It let out a weary breath. Then, It could not help frowning again.
"Did it not go smoothly?" the King of Negativity hurriedly asked. This was the second time the Tree of Time had frowned. What was going on?
"It actually went quite smoothly. The problem is, I feel that something isn't quite right."
The Tree of Time said. It had felt something was off before, and now the feeling was even stronger. Yet It could not tell exactly what was wrong. It simply felt that something was wrong.
"You feel something is off again?"
The King of Negativity said, "Could it be that you sensed our plan will fail this time?"
"Doesn't
