Miles glanced down at his own suit and suddenly felt that black had been a very stupid idea.

"This is our Boss, the strongest Spider-Man."

Standing by the window, Drake told Female Doctor Octopus, "He's also the strongest symbiote."

"Spider-Men, how are you doing?"

Bully Spider-Man spread his arms and shouted. He had none of a mastermind's gloominess. If anything, he was a little too lively.

"The suit you're wearing is a symbiote. It's taken you over."

Middle-aged Spider-Man sensed something and said, "No wonder you've turned evil."

"No, no, no, you've got it wrong. Venom isn't controlling me."

Bully Spider-Man wagged his index finger. "I'm the one who set that trap for you. I'm the one who brought the symbiotes back to Earth. And I'm still the one who unleashed them on all of America.

Venom was the symbiote on Bully Spider-Man's body.

"We're still ourselves, not symbiotes."

Drake spoke from above. Female Doctor Octopus nodded and called out, "Kingpin, don't resist the symbiotes. Merge with them. It's a wonderful experience."

Symbiotes had two ways of bonding with a host. One was control, in which the symbiote made all the decisions.

The other was fusion. The host retained their own consciousness, but certain aspects of their personality, such as evil, greed, or obsession, would be amplified, sometimes until they became a different person altogether.

Naturally, Kingpin and the other supervillains didn't believe Female Doctor Octopus. They fought desperately against the symbiotes inside them to avoid becoming monsters.
