Gwen wanted to stay. Whether before or now, she had always been interested in supernatural incidents. She asked, "Andrew, will it be dangerous if we stay?"
Andrew smiled. "Don't worry, it won't be much of a problem. After all, he's just Iron King."
In the comics, he was Magneto. In the movie world, he was only Iron King, and the difference in strength was enormous.
Psylocke could not help glancing at Andrew. Young people these days were far too arrogant. He did not even take Magneto seriously? Was it ignorance born of fearlessness, or had a donkey simply kicked him in the head?
Naturally, Gwen trusted Andrew. She asked in surprise, "Iron King?"
Andrew said, "I watched videos of Magneto fighting. He only knows how to use Magnetism Control on metal. Honestly, I seriously suspect his degree was forged."
Psylocke was a little displeased. She said, "Magneto could kill you ten thousand times with a flick of his finger."
Andrew merely smiled without replying. Psylocke snorted and turned her attention back to the battlefield, where the two sides were facing off.
Professor Charles said to Magneto, "Erik, leave before things get out of hand."
"Since I came, I will not leave."
Magneto said coldly, "Today, not only will I take that girl away, I will also let everyone know that we Mutants are gods. We do not need saving. There is only one thing we need to do: overthrow humanity and establish a nation that belongs to us Mutants."
As Magneto spoke, dozens of cars around them rose into the air at once. The crowd cried out in alarm. Then, with a series of bangs, the cars crashed back onto the ground, shattering glass everywhere.
Magneto was displaying the power of a god!
Professor Charles said, "Erik, Mutants are humans too."
Magneto pointed at the people who had been taking photos earlier and shouted, "Charles, tell me. When those people look at Mutants, do they see their own kind, or animals?"
Professor Charles sighed. At that moment, Wolverine stepped forward and asked fiercely, "Your target isn't me. It's Rogue?"
"No one here knows you, but you are a useful tool."
Magneto raised a hand. The claws on Logan's right hand shot out uncontrollably and hovered across Rogue's throat. Rogue was horrified and hurriedly asked, "Logan, what are you doing?"
"I'm being controlled."
Logan struggled desperately, but he could not control his hand at all. With his entire skeleton made of Adamantium, Magneto countered him perfectly.
"Erik, stop!"
Professor Charles controlled Sabretooth and had him grab Magneto by the throat. Magneto had been prepared; with a wave of his hand, Sabretooth, wrapped in iron chains, was flung backward.
Then Magneto snorted. The firearms in the hands of every police officer, agent, and soldier flew from their grips at once and turned to point at them.
Cries of alarm rang out all around. Many police officers raised their hands in surrender. Coulson cursed under his breath. He should have brought plastic guns.
Remembering something, Coulson glanced toward Andrew. Seeing him calmly drinking coffee, Coulson knew he would not intervene and could not help sighing.
"Useless human weapons."
Magneto smiled disdainfully, then tapped his helmet. "Charles, with this on, you cannot control me."
Seeing Magneto take control of the situation, Toad strode toward Rogue. Jean tried to stop Toad with Telekinesis, but just then, a gunshot suddenly rang out.
Jean hurriedly turned toward the sound and discovered a bullet floating right in front of a police officer's forehead. The officer's face had turned white with fright.
Professor Charles gestured for Jean to stop and asked, "Erik, what do you want Rogue for?"
"Of course, to complete the great cause of us Mutants. Charles, let us leave. Otherwise, these police officers and the civilians around us will all die."
As he spoke, Magneto controlled the guns and aimed them at the nearby civilians. Since Andrew was close by, one gun was pointed directly at his head.
Professor Charles looked helpless. He was about to compromise when Andrew said, "Magneto, move that gun away and apologize. Then we'll let this go. Otherwise, Brother Wong is very angry, and the consequences will be severe."
Andrew had not wanted to intervene. What did it have to do with him if Mutants fought each other to the death? But as the Demon King of Hell, if someone pointed a gun at him and he did nothing, how would he show his face outside in the future?
Andrew's skin was not as thick as Mephisto's.
Andrew's words made Magneto laugh. "This is humanity: stupid and arrogant."
Psylocke thought so too. Only Coulson was overjoyed. Magneto could have taken Rogue away easily, but unfortunately, he had just made a fatal mistake.
"Then let's stretch a little."
Andrew stood up, and an umbrella silently appeared in his hand. Gwen quipped, "There it is, Schrödinger's Umbrella."
"Lowly creature."
Magneto sneered and controlled the guns to fire. Andrew sidestepped the bullets, then pushed off with both feet and flashed to Magneto's side like lightning. He swung the umbrella viciously at Magneto's head.
"So fast."
Magneto's eyes narrowed, but he was not afraid. He split his focus, using one force of Magnetism Control on Andrew's umbrella and another to control his cape as a shield before him.
The cape was mixed with a special flexible alloy. Combined with Magneto's Magnetism Control, not even a rocket launcher could blast through it.
To Magneto's astonishment, he could not control the metal inside the umbrella. The umbrella then smashed violently into the cape, which rapidly caved in and struck Magneto's helmet. Magneto himself flew away and rolled across the ground several times.
Before Magneto could recover, Andrew appeared beside him as if through Teleportation. The umbrella fell like raindrops, and the pounding impacts rang out without end.
"Acting all high and mighty, making me angry, pointing a gun at me, abandoning your wife and children! You clearly have three children, yet you've never raised any of them, pretending to be some lonely old man."
Andrew cursed as he struck, "What else? Oh, right. Being a mage with combat strength fiercer than a Berserker, putting all your stat points into Strength, riding White Horse into battle at the front, dual-wielding berserk—"
Magneto was furious. He wanted to fight back, but the opponent's attacks were far too fast. He could not gather any strength at all and could only take the beating. Fortunately, the opponent was not that strong, so he had not suffered any serious injuries.
Everyone around them stared in dumbfounded disbelief. That was Magneto, America's number one wanted criminal, yet now a young man was beating him like he was his grandson?
The scene was as brutal as could be—shocking! An elderly man in his seventies was beaten by a young man with an umbrella, while the surrounding crowd not only failed to stop it, but cheered loudly. Was this the collapse of morality, or the distortion of human nature?
"Erik."
Professor Charles could barely bear to watch. Rogue and Wolverine were cheering wildly in their hearts. So even you have this day, you old bastard, Magneto.
Rogue's eyes shone as she stared at Andrew. He was so cool, as cool as Bruce Lee.
Psylocke's mouth hung wide enough to fit an egg. Who exactly was that kid? How could he be so strong?
Gwen said proudly, "My boyfriend never lies. He's only Magneto. My boyfriend is a Kung Fu Master, so beating him is easy."
"Kung Fu Master?"
Psylocke looked suspicious. It was not as if she had never seen a Kung Fu Master before. Since when were they this strong?
