"With something this bizarre, safety comes first."
Tony spoke, and Nick Fury smiled. After countless setbacks, the once-arrogant Tony Stark had finally learned caution.
"Tony Stark, Dr. Reed."
Andrew watched the scene from afar as a thread of fate appeared before him. Along this thread, Tony Stark would become a villain again and suffer another utterly merciless group beating.
"Audiences will get bored if they keep seeing the same plot."
Andrew smiled faintly and plucked Tony's fate line, transferring it to Dr. Reed.
Dr. Reed was a rare talent. Surely The Serpent and Nick Fury would appreciate his recommendation.
"Tony, sorry, but no amount of caution will help you today."
Inside the office, Nick Fury suddenly raised his left hand and fired a beam of icy light at Tony, immobilizing him. At the same time, his right hand grabbed the Hammer of Fear with astonishing speed and thrust it toward Tony's chest.
As long as the Hammer of Fear touched Tony's body, it would still work.
Tony was horrified, but his entire body was frozen stiff. He could do nothing. Just as he was about to become a villain again, Dr. Reed shoved him aside at the critical moment.
"I told you this guy was bad news."
Then Dr. Reed stretched his fist and hurled it at Nick Fury's face. Nick Fury instinctively swung the hammer to block it.
Bang! Dr. Reed's fist slammed into the hammer. It shuddered violently and quickly lit up with yellow light.
Nick Fury realized what had happened. His expression shifted, and he hastily shouted, "Hammer of Fear, don't possess him! Whatever you do, don't possess him!"
Unfortunately, the Hammer of Fear ignored Nick Fury. It sent yellow light racing along Dr. Reed's arm and spreading over his body.
"What is this?"
Dr. Reed was
