"Welcome to the Sakaar Arena. This arena is ruled by the supreme master. Our master is the most perfect being in the Universe..."
Everything around Thor was pitch-black. At the same time, a mechanical female voice kept introducing how perfect and magnificent the master of this place was. Basically, she used every flattering adjective she could.
Thor wanted to curse, but he could not, because his mouth was sealed shut by a metal device.
Just as Thor was about to explode from frustration, the chair suddenly stopped. Then, the surroundings lit up.
Thor discovered that he was beside a hall. A play was being performed in front of him, and a group of spectators watched with great interest.
In the middle of the audience sat a sinister-looking man in green robes. He lay with his head in a beautiful woman's lap, eating grapes she had peeled for him while applauding.
When the sinister man began clapping, everyone else followed suit, applauding and cheering.
"Loki..."
Seeing that figure, Thor was overjoyed. He wanted to call out to him, but with his mouth sealed, he could not make a sound.
Helpless, Thor could only observe his surroundings. Then he saw a dark-skinned woman drinking in the corner, and fury immediately rose within him. This was the woman who had sold him, the mighty Thor, Son of Odin, to this place.
Thor desperately wanted to beat Valkyrie, but he could not do anything. He silently cursed, then turned his gaze toward the play and froze—weren't the two people onstage, acting out a heartbreaking farewell, him and Loki?
Thor held Loki and cried sorrowfully, "Loki, you are Asgard's Savior. I will sing of your deeds and build a huge statue in your honor..."
"What the hell?"
Thor was dumbfounded. Loki had died saving him?
