Hela and The Serpent glared at Gorr through gritted teeth. What rotten luck. If they had been at full strength, what would Gorr the God Butcher have counted for?
Both Hela and The Serpent were top-tier Skyfathers, while Gorr was merely a mortal who relied on a weapon.
The Serpent shouted, "Lucifer, you promised to help me recover my strength."
Hela said, "And mine."
"Don't worry. I always keep my promises."
Lucifer smiled. "However, one more ally has yet to arrive. We'll talk once he gets here."
As soon as Lucifer finished speaking, a ball of fire suddenly appeared.
It transformed into a tall, crowned man of flame.
Hela and The Serpent narrowed their eyes at the same time. It was the fire giant Surtur.
A cold glint flashed through Gorr's eyes. Another god. He truly wanted to kill him.
"Everyone is here."
Lucifer clapped his hands and said, "Gorr, your target is Asgard's Bifrost.
"Surtur, your target is to destroy Asgard.
"Hela and The Serpent, your target is to kill Odin.
"And the goal of us Demon Kings is to make the Mechanical Demon King fail.
"The problem is that we cannot accomplish these goals with our own strength alone.
"So, we should join forces and deal with Asgard together."
"As long as I can destroy Asgard, I can cooperate with you Demon Kings."
Surtur nodded decisively. "I live only to destroy Asgard."
Then, he turned to Hela and The Serpent and asked, "Hela, Kull, are you willing to destroy Asgard?"
Of course Hela was unwilling. Her goal was to become Asgard's Queen and unite the Universe through death and slaughter.
The Serpent was much more indifferent about it. As long as he could kill Odin, nothing else mattered.
"Until Odin dies, I will cooperate with you."
