Two minutes later, the blue-skinned Cyclops, covered in wounds, was the first to reach Hellboy. He clenched his fists and roared in excitement, while the other Cyclopes who arrived a step too late cursed furiously.
They had come so close to becoming the new Demon King. Now, it was all gone.
"Stand aside. The new Demon King will decide your fate."
Hellboy spoke coldly. As a superhero, he had little patience for these bastards.
The Cyclopes sighed and withdrew. One step had made a world of difference.
"To become the new Demon King, you need to..."
Andrew then spoke to the blue-skinned Cyclops remotely. Without the slightest hesitation, the Cyclops accepted all his conditions—fifty percent of his Hell Authority, along with allowing Andrew to plant safeguards in his body.
Soon, the blue-skinned Cyclops became the new One-Eyed Demon King. Thrilled, he immediately created a projection and joined the other Demon King Projections in battle.
A new Demon King could create a projection immediately as a perk from Hell. It couldn't very well force a new Demon King to stay home for months, could it?
"On to the next step."
Andrew wasted no time. He immediately used the altar to open new portals, this time targeting Serpent Hell and Spider Hell.
"Kill!"
The rested Mechanical Army immediately charged into the two hells, using the same old tactics: the legions attacked cities to weaken the Demon Kings, while the Demon King Projections kept the two rulers occupied.
This time was easier than before, thanks to the addition of two more Demon King Projections.
"Fuck! Why me?"
The Myriad Snake Demon King and the Spider Demon King cursed simultaneously. With so many Demon Kings around, why had those two been chosen?
