"Winners always tend to be generous. Unfortunately, I'm a loser."
Hector looked at Hal and sneered. "Hal, I'll turn you into a monster too—a monster just like me. Attack!"
With that, Hector and the other four powered individuals attacked at once, sending a barrage of objects hurtling toward Diana and Hal.
"You've completely lost it."
Hal cursed, then manifested several giant green hands that knocked away every incoming object.
"I'll capture you and make you tell me everything."
Diana snorted and sliced an incoming car in two. The halves flew past her and crashed to the ground with two heavy thuds.
Andrew took a sip of tea and spoke into his communicator. "Looks like another disaster is here. Justice League, assemble."
"I'm already on my way to you. Shit, wasn't this supposed to be a city-level disaster? How did it turn into another world-ending crisis? Can't we get a few more months off?"
Tony cursed, then began issuing orders. "Flash, bring Aquaman, Cyborg, and Batman to Star City. Superman, head into space. The enemy should be coming from there.
"General Calvin, get the military moving immediately. Also, have the police evacuate Star City."
"Understood. There's an air base near Star City. They'll be there right away, and ground troops will deploy immediately."
General Calvin agreed without wasting a word, then shouted, "Get me the president. I need authorization for war."
"I'll head into space right now. I should've stayed away on business a few more days."
Clark sighed helplessly, walked into an empty alley, and pulled open his shirt, revealing the dark blue bodysuit with its S-shield underneath.
"I can't come over just yet. Joker and Harley Quinn hijacked a truck carrying chemicals and want to play a game with me. I'm pursuing them."
Batman sounded helpless. Since Harley Quinn's
