"Food?"
William jumped at Nanawei's words. Was he going to get eaten the next time he died? That would be too horrible.
"Nanawei, you can't eat him."
The young woman Cleo Cazo, nicknamed the Second Generation Rat Catcher, hurriedly stopped the giant shark. She said to William, "We're all criminals. Are you sure you want to come with us?
"We won't guarantee your safety."
"Criminals?"
William froze, then realized who these people were: the legendary Suicide Squad.
Before William could decide, Wade came over, slung an arm around his neck, and said enthusiastically, "Welcome to my team. Don't worry, I'll have your back.
"By the way, want a cameo in my new movie? Your last movie grossed 1.4 billion dollars. You even beat the Marvel movies. That was so cool."
William looked utterly bewildered. Why did he understand every word individually, yet have no idea what they meant together?
"Stop wasting time. We're moving out now. You, soldier, follow us if you want, but we aren't promising anything."
Robert shouted, and everyone nodded. They advanced while watching their surroundings, wary of an ambush by the bugs.
Shark King Nanawei kept looking back at William with every step. His gaze was more unwavering than love, because it was a craving for food.
William shuddered. He wanted to leave, but Wade dragged him along. "Relax. You'll be fine. You're the main character."
I've already been anything but fine plenty of times.
William silently grumbled, then asked in a low voice, "How did you become a criminal? If your offense wasn't too serious, I could find a way to get your sentence reduced. My family has a lot of influence."
Clearly, William wanted to win Wade over so he would protect him.
Looking deeply aggrieved, Wade said, "I'm not a criminal at all.
